आहुस्त्वामृषयः सर्वे देवर्षिर्नारदस्तथा ।असितो देवलो व्यासः स्वयं चैव ब्रवीषि मे ॥

āhus tvām ṛṣayaḥ sarve devarṣir nāradas tathā | asito devalo vyāsaḥ svayaṃ caiva bravīṣi me ||

आहुः · āhuḥ
they call, declare
त्वाम् · tvām
you
ऋषयः सर्वे · ṛṣayaḥ sarve
all the seers
देवर्षिः नारदः · devarṣiḥ nāradaḥ
Narada, seer among gods
असितः · asitaḥ
Asita
देवलः · devalaḥ
Devala
व्यासः · vyāsaḥ
Vyasa
स्वयम् · svayam
yourself
ब्रवीषि · bravīṣi
you declare
मे · me
to me

All the seers proclaim you so — Narada the divine seer, Asita, Devala, Vyasa — and you yourself declare it to me.

Original plain-language translation

Authority is triple-corded: ancient seers, named sages, and Krishna's own word agree. Arjuna stands within a tradition, not a private fancy. Testimony prepares him to ask for more.
