kasmāc ca te na nameran mahātman garīyase brahmaṇo 'py ādi-kartre |ananta deveśa jagan-nivāsa tvam akṣaraṃ sad-asat tat paraṃ yat ||

कस्मात् · kasmāt
why
न नमेरन् · na nameran
should they not bow
गरीयसे · garīyase
to the greater, weightier one
आदिकर्त्रे · ādi-kartre
to the primal creator
अनन्त · ananta
O boundless one
सदसत् तत् परम् · sad-asat tat param
being and non-being, and what is beyond them

And why should they not bow to you, O great Being — greater even than Brahma, the primal creator? O boundless one, Lord of gods, abode of the world: you are the imperishable, being and non-being, and what lies beyond both.

Original plain-language translation

Arjuna reasons the universe into worship: Krishna is prior even to Brahma the creator. 'Being, non-being, and beyond' gathers every metaphysical category into one address — compare 9.19, now spoken by the disciple, not the teacher.
