मा ते व्यथा मा च विमूढभावो दृष्ट्वा रूपं घोरमीदृङ्ममेदम् ।व्यपेतभीः प्रीतमनाः पुनस्त्वं तदेव मे रूपमिदं प्रपश्य ॥

mā te vyathā mā ca vimūḍha-bhāvo dṛṣṭvā rūpaṃ ghoram īdṛṅ mamedam |vyapeta-bhīḥ prīta-manāḥ punas tvaṃ tad eva me rūpam idaṃ prapaśya ||

Let there be no anguish for you, no bewilderment, at seeing this dreadful form of mine. Freed from fear, with gladdened heart, behold again this familiar form of mine.

Original plain-language translation

Krishna speaks as comforter now, prescribing fearlessness as the fruit of vision rather than its price. The dreadful and the dear are one reality; Arjuna is invited back from awe to love.
