इदं ज्ञानमुपाश्रित्य मम साधर्म्यमागताः ।सर्गेऽपि नोपजायन्ते प्रलये न व्यथन्ति च ॥

idaṃ jñānam upāśritya mama sādharmyam āgatāḥ |sarge 'pi nopajāyante pralaye na vyathanti ca ||

Taking refuge in this knowledge, they attained oneness with my being — they are not born again at creation, nor troubled at dissolution.

Original plain-language translation

Steadiness beyond cosmic cycles is the promise here: one rooted in this knowledge is untouched by the universe's own birth and death. Sadharmya means sharing the Lord's nature, not merging away all distinction. This verse sets the fruit before the teaching, to give Arjuna confidence.
