IN SHORT Stay even when clarity, restlessness, or confusion visit, without clinging or resenting.
The first mark of transcendence is evenness toward the gunas themselves: no clutching at clarity, no war against dullness. This is witnessing in practice. Such a one has stopped identifying with the weather of the mind. It is like watching monsoon sun, rain, and clouds pass without chasing one or cursing another.
