the host of elements (the body)
अचेतसः · acetasaḥ
senseless
माम् · mām

अन्तःशरीरस्थम् · antaḥśarīrastham
dwelling within the body
तान् · tān

आसुरनिश्चयान् · āsuraniścayān

…senselessly tormenting the body's elements — and me who dwells within the body. Know such people to be of demoniac resolve.

Original plain-language translation

The charge lands: torturing the body tortures the indwelling Lord. Since Krishna lives in every frame (15.15, 16.18), violence against the body — even one's own — strikes at him. True austerity purifies; false austerity assaults.
