पृथक्त्वेन तु यज्ज्ञानं नानाभावान्पृथग्विधान् ।वेत्ति सर्वेषु भूतेषु तज्ज्ञानं विद्धि राजसम् ॥

Original plain-language translation

Rajasic knowing fragments the world: each being a separate island, each difference ultimate. It is the mindset of competition and comparison. Useful for worldly navigation but blind to the unity beneath — the opposite pole of 18.20.
