When your understanding crosses beyond the thicket of delusion, then you will grow indifferent to all that has been heard and all that remains to be heard.

Original plain-language translation

Delusion as a thicket (kalila) — confusion you hack through, not a veil you lift. And the fruit of crossing is holy indifference even to scripture: the raft abandoned after the river. Arjuna, drowning in heard opinions, is promised dry land.
