O best of Kurus

Those who enjoy the nectar left from sacrifice go to the eternal Brahman. For the non-sacrificer not even this world is — how then the other, O best of Kurus?

Original plain-language translation

Echoing 3.13, the remnant of offering becomes amṛta — deathlessness — leading to eternal Brahman. The logic is a fortiori: if selfishness ruins even this life, what hope for the next? Sacrifice is portrayed as life's minimum price.
