सर्वद्वाराणि संयम्य मनो हृदि निरुध्य च ।मूर्ध्न्याधायात्मनः प्राणमास्थितो योगधारणाम् ॥

sarvadvārāṇi saṃyamya mano hṛdi nirudhya ca | mūrdhny ādhāyātmanaḥ prāṇam āsthito yogadhāraṇām ||

Original plain-language translation

The interior posture of the final meditation is drawn step by step. Sense-doors shut, mind gathered inward, energy lifted upward. The next verse supplies the sound and thought that ride this gathered force.
