वक्त्राणि ते त्वरमाणा विशन्ति दंष्ट्राकरालानि भयानकानि ।केचिद्विलग्ना दशनान्तरेषु सन्दृश्यन्ते चूर्णितैरुत्तमाङ्गैः ॥

vaktrāṇi te tvaramāṇā viśanti daṃṣṭrā-karālāni bhayānakāni |kecid vilagnā daśanāntareṣu sandṛśyante cūrṇitair uttamāṅgaiḥ ||

— rushing into your mouths, terrible with fangs and frightful to see. Some are caught between your teeth, visible with their heads crushed to powder.

Original plain-language translation

The war's outcome is shown as already accomplished: warriors stream helplessly into the cosmic mouth. Krishna will confirm this reading in verse 34 — 'already slain by me.' Foreknowledge here serves to free Arjuna from the burden of doership.
