Original plain-language translation

IN SHORT Keep love in mind, serve devotedly, and you will surely find your way.

Four complete acts of devotion — mind, love, worship, surrender of the body — gather the whole path into one verse, echoing 9.34 word for word. Repetition at the Gita's summit is deliberate: this is the essence restated as a vow. Krishna stakes his truth on the promise ('I promise'), grounding assurance in Arjuna's belovedness, not his perfection. It is like a cricket fan keeping the team's photo at home, cheering each match, and finally meeting the players.
