others
· ca
and
यतयः · yatayaḥ
the striving ones
संशितव्रताः · saṃśitavratāḥ
of sharpened vows, keen discipline

Some offer material giving as sacrifice, others austerity or yoga as sacrifice, while other strivers of keen vows offer study and knowledge as sacrifice.

Original plain-language translation

The catalogue embraces every temperament: the giver, the ascetic, the meditator, the student. Saṃśitavrata — whetted, razor-kept vows — honors their shared earnestness. No sincere discipline falls outside yajña's widening circle.
