यथाकाशस्थितो नित्यं वायुः सर्वत्रगो महान् ।तथा सर्वाणि भूतानि मत्स्थानीत्युपधारय ॥

yathākāśasthito nityaṃ vāyuḥ sarvatrago mahān | tathā sarvāṇi bhūtāni matsthānīty upadhāraya ||

यथा · yathā
as
आकाशस्थितः · ākāśasthitaḥ
resting in space, ether
नित्यम् · nityam
always
वायुः · vāyuḥ
the wind
सर्वत्रगः · sarvatragaḥ
going everywhere
महान् · mahān
mighty
तथा · tathā
so
सर्वाणि भूतानि · sarvāṇi bhūtāni
all beings
मत्स्थानि · matsthāni
abiding in me
उपधारय · upadhāraya
understand, hold in mind

As the mighty wind, going everywhere, always rests in space — so understand that all beings rest in me.

Original plain-language translation

An image makes the paradox graspable: wind moves freely everywhere yet never leaves space. Beings likewise live and move within Krishna without confining him. Analogy carries where definition cannot.
