सर्वभूतानि कौन्तेय प्रकृतिं यान्ति मामिकाम् ।कल्पक्षये पुनस्तानि कल्पादौ विसृजाम्यहम् ॥

All beings return into my own nature at the end of the age, O Kaunteya, and at the beginning of the age I send them forth again.

Original plain-language translation

The cosmic breathing of Chapter 8 is now owned personally: withdrawal and emission are Krishna's own acts. Nature is his, and its rhythms are his gestures. Creation is not toil but periodic forth-pouring.
