अहङ्कारं बलं दर्पं कामं क्रोधं च संश्रिताः ।मामात्मपरदेहेषु प्रद्विषन्तोऽभ्यसूयकाः ॥

Entrenched in egoism, brute force, arrogance, craving, and rage, they hate me dwelling in their own bodies and in others' — sneering all the while.

Original plain-language translation

The final degradation: hatred of the divine within — one's own self and every other. Since Krishna dwells in all hearts (15.15), scorning beings is scorning him. Malice toward others is revealed as self-hatred in disguise.
