युक्तः कर्मफलं त्यक्त्वा शान्तिमाप्नोति नैष्ठिकीम् ।अयुक्तः कामकारेण फले सक्तो निबध्यते ॥

The disciplined one, giving up the fruit of action, attains abiding peace. The undisciplined one, driven by desire and attached to results, is bound.

Original plain-language translation

A crisp contrast between two inner economies: release the result and rest, or clutch it and be tied. Peace is presented as the direct wage of letting go. This echoes the karma-yoga refrain of 2.47.
