with intellect fixed on That
तन्निष्ठाः · tanniṣṭhāḥ
steadfast in That
तत्परायणाः · tatparāyaṇāḥ
with That as supreme refuge
अपुनरावृत्तिम् · apunarāvṛttim
non-return, final freedom
गच्छन्ति · gacchanti
they reach
निर्धूतकल्मषाः · nirdhūtakalmaṣāḥ
with impurities shaken off

With intellect fixed on That, self absorbed in That, steadfast in That, with That as their highest refuge — they reach the state of no return, their stains washed away by knowledge.

Original plain-language translation

Four phrases hammer a single absorption in the supreme. Knowledge here is not information but cleansing immersion. The reward is apunaravrtti, freedom from repeated birth.
